Delicious sushi rice, this rice delight is very easy to make, you can eat it wrapped in a sushi roll or on its own, this recipe is simple and very tasty to be made at home.

sushi rice Ingredients:
- 2 cups uncooked glutinous white rice (sushi rice)
- 3 cups of water
- ½ cup rice vinegar
- 1 spoon of vegetable oil
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Preparation method:
First gather all the ingredients.
After that wash the rice in a sieve or colander under cold running water until the water runs clear.
Then combine the rice and water in a pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. After that reduce the heat to low, cover and cook until the rice is tender and all the water has been absorbed, about 20 minutes. After that remove from the stove and set aside until cool enough to handle.
Meanwhile, combine the rice vinegar, oil, sugar and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat. After that cook until the sugar dissolves. Then let it cool and mix it with cooked rice. Even though the mixture seems too wet at first, keep stirring and the rice will dry out as it cools.
