Dinner Rolls Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, divided, or as needed
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (.25 ounce) envelope Fleischmann’s® RapidRise Yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Preparation method:

First whisk together 3/4 cup flour, sugar, undissolved yeast, and salt in a large bowl.

After that, heat the milk, water and 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan until very hot (120 to 130 degrees F).

After that add the hot milk mixture to the flour mixture. Then beat for 2 minutes on medium mixer speed, scraping the bowl occasionally. After that put 1/4 cup of flour; beat for 2 minutes on high speed. After that add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough and mix.

Then knead the dough well on a lightly floured surface until it is smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. After that cover and let rest for 10 minutes.

Then cut this dough into 12 pieces.

After that shape the pieces into balls and place in a greased 8 inch round cake tin. Then cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.

Now start heating the oven to 375 degrees F.

Finally, bake the rolls in the preheated oven until golden on top, about 20 minutes.
