Gnocchi Ingredients:

• 2 potatoes, peeled
• 1 egg
• 2 cups all-purpose flour

Preparation method:

First, bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil, now add the potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes.

Then drain, let cool and mash using a fork or potato masher.

Then, in a large bowl, mix 1 cup of mashed potatoes, the flour and the egg. Then knead until the dough forms a ball.

Next, shape small portions of dough into long “snakes”. Then, on a floured surface, we’ll cut the snakes into 1/2-inch pieces.

Now we will put a large pot of lightly salted water to boil. Finish by pouring in the gnocchi and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes or until the gnocchi have risen to the top, now just drain and serve.
