Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Roasted Brussels Sprouts Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation method:

First heat the oven to 400 degrees F.

After that place the already chopped brussels sprouts, olive oil, kosher salt and black pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Then seal tightly and shake to coat.

After that, pour it into a baking dish and place it on the center rack of the oven.

Then bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, shaking the tin every 5 to 7 minutes to brown evenly. Thereafter reduce the heat as necessary to avoid burns. After that, the brussels sprouts should turn dark brown, almost black, when done. After that, adjust the seasoning with kosher salt, if necessary. Finally serve immediately.
