Fettuccine Alfredo Ingredients:

  • 10 ounces of fettuccini pasta
  • ½ cup butter
  • 5 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons of dried parsley
  • 1 cup of milk cream
  • 2 cups grated fresh parmesan cheese

Preparation method:

First bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. After that put the noodles and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until it’s al dente; drain.

After that meanwhile, in a large skillet melt the butter and add the minced garlic. After that, cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent the garlic from burning.

Then pour about 1/4 cup of heavy cream into a small bowl. After that put the yolk and beat; set aside.

Now pour the remaining cream into the frying pan. Then increase the heat to medium-high. After that when the cream starts to boil, mix quickly with a whisk. After that pour in the egg mixture slowly to avoid curdling, stirring until well blended. Finally stir in 1 cup Parmesan cheese until combined.

Add remaining Parmesan cheese and parsley; mix until smooth. Remove from heat and serve over cooked pasta.
