Denver Omelet Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons diced green bell pepper
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • ⅓ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup diced smoked ham
  • 2 tablespoons diced onion
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Preparation method:

First beat the eggs in a small bowl until combined; Do not exaggerate.

Then melt the butter in a skillet. After that put the ham, onion and peppers. Then season with salt and pepper. Now let it cook and stir until the onion softens and the ham starts to caramelize, about 5 minutes.

After that, turn the heat down to medium-low and pour in the eggs. After that, mix quickly with a spatula while shaking the pan to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed. Then run a spatula around the edges of the omelette.
