Tater Tot Casserole Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation method:

Let’s begin by organizing the ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Next, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir the ground beef in the skillet until it is browned and crumbled, which usually takes about 7 to 10 minutes. Add the condensed soup and season with salt and black pepper, stirring everything together.

Transfer the meat mixture to a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Layer the tater tots evenly on top and sprinkle them with cheddar cheese.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake until the tater tots turn golden brown and the dish is heated through. This usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
