Peanut pave Ingredients:

For the cream:

  • 2 cartons of heavy cream
  • 1 carton of condensed milk
  • 200 grams of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup of peanut butter

For assembly:

  • ½ cup of milk for soaking the cookies
  • 1 packet of cornstarch cookies

For the peanut crunch:

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • ½ cup of crushed unsalted roasted peanuts

For decoration:

  • 400 grams of ready-made dulce de leche

Preparation method:

Homemade Peanut Butter (optional preparation):

If desired, you can make your own peanut butter instead of using store-bought peanut butter. Simply put the unsalted roasted peanuts in a blender and blend for a few minutes until you get a smooth and creamy consistency. The result is a thicker paste compared to commercially available peanut butter. But it works perfectly.

Cream:

Place the peanut butter, condensed milk, and softened unsalted butter in a bowl. Beat well for 2 minutes until you get a creamy mixture.

Add the heavy cream and beat a little more to obtain a smooth cream. Set aside.

Assembly:

In a rectangular baking dish (25 cm x 17 cm), place a layer of peanut butter cream, followed by a layer of milk-soaked cornstarch cookies.

Repeat these layers until all the ingredients are used, but the final layer should be the cream.

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours until set.

Peanut Crunch:

Place the crushed peanuts and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar completely dissolves and caramelizes all the peanuts.
Turn off the heat, transfer to a baking sheet, spread evenly, and let it cool. It will become crunchy and crispy.

Remove the baking dish from the refrigerator and spread the dulce de leche on top using a spatula or palette knife, without damaging the surface of the layers.
Decorate with the peanut crunch around the edges of the dish. It stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Serve this easy peanut butter trifle and enjoy!
