Bread rolls Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, divided, or as needed
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butt
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (.25 ounce) envelope Fleischmann’s® RapidRise Yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Preparation method:

First, in a large bowl mix together sugar, 3/4 cup flour, undissolved yeast and salt.

Then, in a saucepan heat the milk, 2 tablespoons of butter and the water to until very hot (120 degrees to 130 degrees F).

Then add the flour mixture and the hot milk mixture. On medium speed of an electric mixer, beat about 2 minutes, scraping the bowl occasionally. Put in 1/4 cup of flour, beat for another 2 minutes on high speed. Now to get a soft dough add enough remaining flour.

Then until smooth and elastic knead the dough on a lightly floured surface, about 8 to 10 minutes. Cover and let it rest for about 10 minutes.

Separate dough into 12 pieces of the same size.

Then make balls out of the pieces and place them in a greased 8 inch round pan. Then cover and let rise for 30 minutes in a warm, draft-free place until doubled in size.

Now let the oven preheat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Finally, we will bake the rolls in the preheated oven until golden brown on top, about 20 minutes.
