Best Cheesecake Ingredients:
- 3 large eggs
- 1 ¾ cups Honey Maid Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 1 cup Breakstone’s or Knudsen Sour Cream
- ⅓ cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 ¼ cups sugar, divided
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 3 (8 ounce) packages Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
Preparation method:
We’ll start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Now using a large bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and 1/4 cup of sugar.
Then press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Next, in another large bowl, use a mixer to beat the cream cheese and the remaining sugar until well blended. Incorporate the sour cream and vanilla, ensuring thorough mixing.
Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, beating on a low speed after each addition until well blended.
Then pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust. Now bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes or until the center is almost set.
Then run a knife around the edge of the pan to loosen the cake and let it cool before removing it from the edge.
Lastly, refrigerate the cheesecake for a minimum of 4 hours.
When finished, before serving, top the cheesecake with your favorite pie filling.
