Salisbury Steak Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
  • ½ cup dry bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Preparation method:

To start, combine the ground beef, 1/3 cup of condensed soup, breadcrumbs, salt, egg, and black pepper in a large bowl, forming 6 oval patties.

Next, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and place the burgers in it, browning them on both sides. Drain off any excess fat.

In a small bowl, mix the remaining soup and flour until smooth. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, water, and mustard, thoroughly combining the ingredients.
