Fried Cabbage with Bacon Ingredients:

• 1 head of cabbage chopped
• 1 Onion chopped
• 5 Strips of bacon cooked and crumbled
• Reserved bacon grease
• ½ tsp. Onion powder
• ½ tsp. Garlic powder
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tsp. Minced garlic

Preparation method:

First, fry the bacon, set aside until it cools down. Now separate the fat from the bacon. Then, in a pot or deep-frying pan, put the bacon fat and cook the onion until soft.

Then add the garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds.

Then turn the heat down to medium low and add the cabbage to the pot. Now stir well and cover. Let it simmer until the cabbage is softened.

We will now mix onion powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Then we will sauté for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Finally, on top of the cabbage, add the crumbled bacon and serve.
