First, place the chopped bananas in a bowl and mash them with a fork until they look like puree. Now reserve the puree that we’ll use for the base of our banana cake.
Then, in another bowl, add the eggs and beat them with a whisk until they double in size. Then add the milk, vanilla essence, a pinch of salt, the sugar and the butter, which we will have previously melted in the microwave. Beat again until all the ingredients are well mixed.
Then sift the flour and yeast over the mixture and mix everything together again with a whisk until it’s combined. Then add the puree and mix everything together.
After that, we take the mold, grease it with butter and pour the dough into it. Bake in the oven, preheated to 190 °C, for approximately 40 minutes.
Finally, insert a toothpick into the cake; if it comes out clean, it’s ready. If not, let it bake for a few more minutes. When it’s baked, take it out of the oven and let it rest for about an hour, so that it cools down and becomes compact.
