Ten Baked Codfish Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • ½ mango buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®), crushed
  • 1 pound thick-cut cod fillet
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
  • 1 medium lemon, sliced
  • ½ medium lemon, squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon minced green onion

Preparation method:

First gather all the ingredients.

After that preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

After that put 2 tablespoons of butter in a microwaveable bowl. Then melt in the microwave on high power, about 30 seconds. Now mix buttered round cookies in melted butter.

After that place the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in a 7 x 11 inch baking dish. Melt in preheated oven, 1 to 3 minutes. Remove the dish from the oven.

Then dip both sides of the cod in the melted butter in the pan.

Finally bake the cod in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then remove from the oven; top with lemon juice, wine, and cookie mix. Then return to the oven and bake until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, about 10 more minutes.
